MESAS was founded in 1979 as a specialist-engineering distributor, the sale of LPG was less than 5% of our turnover. The company moved to its current premises in 1985 Where it continued to expand its LPG operation. In 1995 it became North West Gas. A former Shell gas business was acquired in 1998 giving the company a depot in Blackpool, In 2000 the Head office extended by acquisition of adjacent premises, which alowed the filling plant to be re-housed and capacity doubled.
