Proper Wood is a sustainable timber and firewood supplier offering eco-friendly hardwood logs, kindling, and bulk wood products. Their mission centers on ecological management and green economies, notably by converting invasive tree species into useful hardwood.

History: Proper Wood was founded in 2020 by co-owners Nathan Williams and John Biermann. The partnership built the business following a decade of prior collaboration, combining Williams' long-standing ties to South Africa (where much of their eco-friendly firewood and invasive-species harvesting operations take place) with John Biermann's local roots in Cape Town.
