Balcas Energy, the renewable energy arm of timber manufacturer Balcas, produces carbon-neutral ENplus A1 wood pellets for domestic, commercial, and industrial heating. Utilizing a zero-waste process, it transforms sawmilling sawdust and residues into fuel at primary plants in Enniskillen (Northern Ireland) and Invergordon (Scotland). Onsite biomass Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plants provide renewable heat to dry the pellets while generating green electricity for facility operations and the local grid.
