BOC Stainshield Light Gas Cylinders The BOC Stainshield range is precisely formulated to produce outstanding, first-time results when working with stainless steel. Stainshield enables professional welders to achieve strong, smooth, clean and defect-free welds without the need for time-consuming and expensive rework. Argon, carbon dioxide and helium are combined in different quantities for MIG welding applications. Stainshield Light is ideal for welding stainless steel up to 3mm in thickness and produces clean, bright welds with a flat profile. Specially formulated for dip transfer with solid wire, Stainshield Light produces minimal spatter, low distortion and provides excellent positional characteristics (flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead) ensuring even the most complex welds can be performed.
