Gas Direct Helimix SS85 Gas Cylinders Helimix SS85 is a high Helium content shielding gas. It contains 1,5% Carbon Dioxide, 13.5% Argon & 55% Helium and is effective at welding light gauge stainless steel up to around 3mm in thickness. This product produces strong, clean welds with very little spatter therefore resulting in less post-weld clean up. There are a number of beneficial qualities found desirable to the welder including, low distortion, smooth welding characteristics and it’s general ease of use in all positions. Available in one of our 50 litre cylinders, ideal for high capacity metal fabrication workshops with larger MAG welding machinery trolleys. Moreover, the cylinder has an industry standard BS3 valves to suit the vast majority of equipment already on the market.
