Gas Direct Helimix AL50 50% Argon Gas Cylinders AL50 is a well balanced dual gas mixture. It will produce high quality, desirable weld characteristics on aluminium alloys and other non-ferrous materials. Additionally, you can use this gas for both MIG and TIG welding applications with a thickness of between 3mm and 10mm. The inclusion of Helium in this shielding gas will increase productivity as well as lower production costs due to faster travel speeds and increased weldability. Helimix AL50 produces a fluid weld pool which increases the weld fusion and penetration, producing clean welds first time. For an experienced welder, this means less post weld clean-up and fewer welding defects. Should you require a different content of Helium, have a browse of our other AL mixtures – AL30 and AL75.
